Schloss Rattey is manor house, winery and restaurant in one place — you celebrate with everything only a few steps apart: hotel rooms, ceremony, wedding cake & coffee, evening buffet and wine. Nobody has to drive anywhere.
Send an enquiryThe landscaped park, laid out in 1830, covers seven hectares. The avenue and meadow by the house give a celebrant-led ceremony room to breathe, the ceremony room in the manor gives your guests intimacy, and the fieldstone church next door offers a church blessing.
Tears of joy & hugs — everyone wants to raise a glass. The winery's sparkling wine is on ice. The wedding cake awaits the first cut. The vineyard terrace is bathed in sun, and if it rains everyone moves into the fireplace hall.
One hall for everything — "surely 100 guests fit in there easily"... yes, they do, and also a DJ or band, stage & microphone, dance floor & photo booth, projector & screen, the festive dinner buffet & drinks bar...

The kitchen works with what the region has to offer, plus our own Inselmühle Usedom natural products and produce from the kitchen garden. The wines come from our own vineyards, truly estate-bottled.
There are enough rooms for your guests in the manor and at Haus WeinWerk — the bridal suite is in the manor. The rooms at Haus WeinWerk are reached step-free after celebrating in the hall.
Send us your date, number of guests & any details you already know — what matters first is availability for your preferred date. You will also need to enquire in good time at the Woldegk registry office on +49 3963 256532. Then we arrange your viewing.
We walk through the hotel, hall and park together and talk through how to realise your wishes on the spot. Every wedding at Rattey is put together individually and personally for you.
You receive your personal proposal covering the spaces, the kitchen and your room allocation. You choose your buffet, we confirm everything, and your date is booked.
Of course we agree further details with you in good time, such as the detailed schedule, seating plan and room list... Changes always come up, and we are happy to accommodate them.
Much of what other venues have to buy in is right here on the estate. Anything you would like to bring yourselves, we can talk about.
Summer dates are often booked well in advance. Do get in touch early, and always with an alternative date.
You and we both want to take the time your wedding planning deserves, so that no detail is overlooked and everything matches your ideas. That depends on the space and the programme — we agree the exact capacities in conversation, but often 80–100 guests celebrate. And they can all stay overnight too!
Both civil and celebrant-led ceremonies can take place in the castle park. We discuss everything with you for the perfect programme, including the bad-weather alternative if needed...
The couple arranges everything 'official' — date, documents and so on — with the Woldegk registry office. It is best to call or get in touch right away: phone +49 3963 256532 and e-mail standesamt@amt-woldegk.de. There you will find out what the civil ceremony involves.
For years we have worked with many suppliers who know Schloss Rattey well, whom we trust completely and can recommend. Even so, couples often bring people they trust for music, floral decoration or photography. Outside catering at Schloss Rattey is not normally allowed, but we can discuss it with you individually if needed.
We agree the whole programme, and the close of the evening, with you before you book.
Dogs are welcome to come along.
