Are there house rules for dogs & their owners?
HOUSE RULES FOR DOGS & OWNERS
We are delighted that you are staying with us together with your dog. So that all guests can enjoy their stay, please observe the following rules:
HOTEL SCHLOSS RATTEY HOUSE RULES
1. LIABILITY INSURANCE & BEHAVIOUR | Your dog must have liability insurance and be well behaved. Any damage your dog causes to guests or hotel facilities is your responsibility. Only house-trained, well-groomed dogs with a friendly nature are allowed. Please make sure your dog does not bark uncontrollably and can stay quietly alone in the room when necessary.
2. DINING ROOM | Dogs are welcome in the dining room as long as they stay calm and well behaved at or under the table. Chairs and seats are off limits for dogs. The restaurant is meant for human food; please do not feed your dog in the dining room. You are welcome to bring a dog blanket so that your dog can lie comfortably.
3. HOTEL ROOMS | Dogs are not allowed on beds, sofas or couches. Breaches incur a special cleaning fee from €120. Please hang the “Dog in room” or “Do not disturb” sign on the door when your dog stays in the room.
Please use your own towels for your dog, as the hotel towels are for guests only.
4. WALKS & EXERCISE | Use the landscaped park or the fenced orchard meadow for walks and exercise. Always pick up after your dog with poo bags, including in the vineyards and orchard meadows.
After walks in the rain, please dry your dog before entering the hotel room.
5. CHARGES | We charge €20 per night for your dog (including intensive cleaning, excluding food).
WE WISH YOU & YOUR FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS A RELAXING STAY AT SCHLOSS RATTEY.
Is there an ironing room or a drying room?
FOR WET CLOTHES & EQUIPMENT | At Haus WeinWerk there is a heated room for drying wet clothes and equipment. Whether you are a cyclist or motorcyclist caught in a shower, or back from a sporty tour, you can hang your things up here in comfort. We trust our guests to treat the space with respect — the room is freely accessible. Please note that we cannot accept liability. IRONING ROOM IN THE MANOR HOUSE OR HAUS WEINWERK | Use our ironing room to press shirts, blouses or other clothes as you need. The iron has an automatic shut-off function that safely switches it off after a few minutes.
I’d like to go for a run!
From Schloss Rattey, surfaced paths lead around the lake, and unsurfaced trails wind through the idyllic castle park & woods. Some of these routes bring you back to the hotel along the village street — also ideal for a relaxed walk in the heart of nature.
